 At Al Mahara Diving Center  we have a team of experienced and professional instructors and certified assistants to cater to your marinesport and scuba diving needs. Our professional team of PADI, Emergency First Response and AIDA Instructors can take you from novice to instructor level training in a variety of disciplines in the water.

Kathleen Russell, PADI Course Director as our resident PADI Course Director and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer from Canada. She is passionate about the oceans and also in training new divers and instructor level divers to  share her love for the ocean. She is also the Emirates Diving Association Abu Dhabi Committee Coordinator and helps EDA to organise many marine environment initiatives including Clean Up Arabia, underwater marine debris clean ups, Reef Check and marine conservation programs. Mr. Darren Drewery, PADI Master Scuba Trainer is our senior scuba diving instructor and marinesports enthusiasts with the Al Mahara Dive and Kayak Team. Darren is all about the ocean; you will find him in and around the water whether its at the swimming pool or in the ocean with student divers and fun divers, sailors, paddlers, wakeboards or other sealovers. With many years of experience sailing and boat driving in the Mediterranean waters, you'll always be greeted with a friendly smile. You can reach him at info@divemahara.com

Mr. Sanjay Godrich who recently joined Al Mahara as Activities Cooridinator with many years of boat driving and marinesports experience in Sri Lanka. Coming from a naval family, young Sanjay aka "Jay" has spent allot of his time in and around the seas. Jay is also a certified PADI Divemaster and his ambition to to become a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor and beyond. Mr. Arnel Domingo who joins Al Mahara with many years of boat driving experience in the Arabian gulf region. You will normally find him welcoming and assisting all the guests on the boat. His passion for the sea and scuba diving makes him our ideal boat driver and crew. Mr. Arnel is also a currently working on his PADI Divemaster certification and holds current Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and first-aid) certification.

Ms Lena Apriliana Al Mahara's dive center and adminstrative coordinator. She will be one of the friendly voices on the phone or behind the counter when you call in for your bookings for fun diving, outfitting your gear or training, Ms Lena has had over 4 years of experience in the scuba diving industry and will assist you all your adminstrative and retail requirements. Mr. Kasun Ranmal is Al Mahara team's marinesports logistic's assistant. Kasun is extremely helpful, friendly and eager to assist all our guests whether you are kayaking in the mangroves or going out on the boat in the sea..
