Come and explore the region’s alluring landscape and fascinating marine life including exotic coral reefs, surrounding Sir Bani Yas island. Our new Watersports Centre at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara offers first timers, amateurs and expert divers an opportunity to discover and enjoy the colourful aquatic life beneath the sea.
Certified divers who are a little out of practice, will take comfort with our Refresher Scuba tune up package, while absolute beginners can obtain their PADI open water certification as part of a five night package.
Confident divers are spoilt for choice with a variety of dives. Explore the colourful reefs, wonder at life beneath the sea at night or discover the island’s wreck.
For keen divers who wish to pursue further qualifications the Watersports Centre offers advanced programmes including Rescue Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Divemaster and Go Pro! Instructor programmes.
Special programmes are available for children including our Seal Team (10 years and older) and PADI Discover Scuba Diving Bubble Maker, which is a fun introduction to scuba diving for children 8 years and older in a controlled environment within our purpose-built dive pool.
Located next to the Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara and the Desert Islands Conference Centre, the Watersports Centre offers a wide array of first class amenities for watersports enthusiasts of all abilities.
