Marine life and birds around Sir Bani Yas Island |

We have had some wonderful images taken by divers and ecologists from all around the world. Some of the images are shared through our facebook. We had visited near-by islands around Sir Bani Yas Island and found plenty of birds habiting/nesting on these islands like Umm Al Kirkum. Plenty of Socotra comarants, Saunder's terns, Sanderlings, sand plovers and turnstones. (Photo credit: Shamsa Al Hameli taken at Price Shoal, Western region, Emirates of Abu Dhabi, UAE) Divers were lucky enough to see underwater a plethora of marine life even during the hot summers where water temperatures rise to 36Celcius. Currently water temperatures are cooling down to 33Celcius (mid October).
