Dear Intrepid divers and marine lovers,

We cordially invite you to attend ADGAS’ Abu Dhabi Islands Clean Up Campaign on Saturday 17^th September. Join EDA and Al Mahara Dive Team and dive against debris this month.

In conjunction with the preservation of Ozone Layer Day (16^th Sept) and International Coastal Clean Up Day, we are calling on all participants to come and take action against marine debris!

Protect our living planet and its inhabitants and join the rest of the world in this fight! Help us clean up Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club marina area and Lulu Island in round one.

Abu Dhabi Islands Clean Up Campaign is organized by ADGAS in partnership with Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi, Emirates Diving Association, Al Mahara Diving Center, Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, Central Waste Management and CNIA.

Date: Saturday 17^th September 2011

Registration: 8am (please pre-register in order for us to get an accurate count of volunteers), event finishes at 12pm-1pm

Meeting location: Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club (ADIMSC)

Clean Up locations: ADIMSC and Lulu Island

Any kids activities: there will be coloring contest and other kids’ activities

Bring your own drinking water bottle and save the plastics and REUSE and REDUCE!

What to bring: please bring sun protection, your own water bottle, comfortable footwear (may get wet), light clothing attire as it’s still quite warm outside and your clean up buddies.
